I have experience implementing human development projects funded by international cooperation since 2016. My work has focused on formulating, implementing, and evaluating development projects. My passion for sustainable development and social equality has led me to keep learning and looking for new ways to contribute to a better region. I am a committed, proactive professional with technical and social skills and keen always to learn more.

I am an accomplished auditor with expertise in the public sector. I have a master’s degree in Management and Public Policy. I also have a certificate in Public Innovation and Machine Learning. My work experience includes conducting audits in various sectors, including public purchases.

I am pursuing a degree in International Relations. In my university cycle, I applied for the Erasmus Scholarship, where I spent a semester in Commerce at the University of Valladolid. As part of my extracurricular activities, I am a member of the protocol group at my university and former coordinator. I am interested in protecting the rights of groups in vulnerable situations.

I am an Economist with a master’s degree in Development Macroeconomics, focusing on public policy. Additionally, I am currently completing a master’s degree in Statistics, where I have specialized in data science and unsupervised machine learning techniques. I have worked in the public sector for over 12 years, providing advisory services for the Presidency of the Republic. Currently, I am working as an Auditor for SAI Costa Rica.

I am a Statistician with extensive experience solving quantitative problems and an enthusiast of the R language and the KNIME analytical platform. I have worked in censuses and taxes. I have specialized in various types of audits, supported by my statistical knowledge.

My name is Sofia, and I am 24 years old. I am in the last year of my Data Science degree at ULACIT. I have worked as a Data Analyst and am the ambassador of Women in Data Science for Costa Rica, founder of the association Women & Data Costa Rica, and co-organizer of the Data Challenge Costa Rica 2022, commemorating International Open Data Day.

I achieved my bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) in 2016. I also have a master’s degree in Statistics from UCR, which I earned in 2020. Since 2015, I have been an Auditor in Statistics in the office of the Comptroller General of Costa Rica. I have over seven years of experience in data analysis for auditing, public purchases, design, application, and analysis of citizen perception surveys on transparency, prevention of corruption, efficiency of public services, and integrated public finances.

I am a Public Official with 20 years of experience in the government sector. I am a System Engineer specializing in database management. Over the last ten years, I have focused on the automation of risk analysis of assets & interests in the declarations of public servants. I also have concentrated on developing solutions for citizens to have a safe space to report corruption.

I am a Software Developer and Data Analyst with solid experience in Open Data. As a helpdesk member, I worked with the Open Contracting Partnership (OCP) to help governments and social civility understand and implement the Open Contracting Data Standard (OCDS). I am interested in the open data initiative to help people find opportunities to collaborate with the government.

I am pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Sciences from the University of Costa Rica. I am a Regional Public and Digital Innovation Consultant at The Trust for the Americas of the Organization of American States. I am a member of the National Open Data Commission in Costa Rica. I am also a Professor at the School of Public Administration of the University of Costa Rica in Statistical Analysis & Data Analysis in Public Management.

I graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra with a degree in Economics. I have experience in economic development and diaspora management. I am the co-author of the first Dominican research awarded in the Latin American Monograph Contest, which made me the youngest speaker at the CLAD Congress on Modernization of the State in 2022; and together with my team, we won the National Public Innovation Award for ‘Innovation and Digital Public Processes.’ I am the 2021 University Debate champion, ranked 48th in the World Debate World Cup Alternate Speech Competition. I am one of the 25 Young Ibero-American Leaders 2023. I currently serve in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic.

I am a Law graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and the youngest Participación Ciudadana (Chapter of Transparency International) Council member. I am also a member of the Women’s Democracy Network of the International Republican Institute (IRI). I serve as the President of the Latin American Youth Network for Democracy; and have been an electoral observer on OAS electoral missions and other organizations.

I am one of 32 Latinos trained in the Strengthening the Public Function on Policies program. I have also served as an Ambassador (ODS), Spokesperson for the Global Campaign’ Por Ser Niña,’ and CEO of Dame el Chance de Ser Niña.

I have nine years of experience as a UI/UX Designer for digital products and as a Digital Communication Strategist. I am a Digital Innovation Laboratory (LID) member at the Government Office of Technology and Communication (OGTIC). We focus on helping institutions improve their services using Information and Communication Technologies to design and formulate viable products for citizens’ digital development and integration./span>

I am a 23-year-old lawyer with extensive experience in public affairs, strategic communication, and political consulting. I am currently pursuing a specialization in public policy and data analysis. I am a member of the Women’s Democracy Network, working to include women in Dominican politics. I am currently an advisor to Youth and Democracy in the Americas– a regional civil society organization where I represented the Dominican Republic from 2020-2022.

I am a teacher with a master’s degree in Caribbean Studies. I graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and am currently a member of the third Caribbean History Doctorate program. I am the Director of the Educational Leadership Program at the Ministry of Education. I am responsible for directing the educational policy for leadership and training for students in the Dominican Educational System.

I studied Open Government and Project Planning and am a politician and lawyer. Since the age of 18, I have worked for different law firms focusing on criminal law, civil liability, administrative law, and the law of regulated markets, in addition to advising politicians in their communication & structuring strategies. During my university career, I was the elected Leader of the Law Student Committee at UNPHU– an incredible feat, as I received more than 80% of the votes.span>

I am an Educator, Mathematician, and Programmer. I specialized in Web Development and Mathematical Analysis. I have received the Academic Excellence and Young Exemplar awards several times and is a finalist in the 2019 Innovation in Citizen Security competition. I completed an internship at the Cincinnatus Institute and am one of the youngest registrars at the Ministry of Education. Day by day, I reaffirm my anti-corruption position, protecting the integrity of the information I handle./span>

I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Constitutional Law. After being in the private sector, I joined the Senate of the Dominican Republic, where I analyze legislative initiatives in finance, economic and social rights, bills, loan contracts, sales of State land, and international treaties, among others, to determine its feasibility. I also volunteer in NGOs focusing on issues related to youth, justice, and democracy./span>

I am an Economist and Youth Activist. I am a Chevening Scholarship awardee and the first Dominican ambassador for the Caribbean of the Fora Global Summit. I was also named Young Ibero-American Leader of the Carolina Foundation and Banco Santander in 2022. I have an extensive youth participation and leadership history, impacting +7,000 people in Latin America with non-traditional training. I have worked on issues of governance, technology, education, gender equity, and poverty elimination./span>

I am an experienced Full-Stack Software Developer specializing in C# (.NET) and ReactJS. I have led teams of 2-5 developers at the Ministry of Education, Dominican Republic. I graduated from ITLA and have directed youth leadership programs through international tech conferences. I participated in the Electoral Observation as a developer. I am committed to teamwork, process automation, and efficiency.

I am an Industrial Designer by profession, and I am passionate about visual art and photography. I specialize in human-centered design and functional design. I am an Innovation Specialist at the Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies.

I am a Javascript Frontend Developer. As a volunteer for several global NGOs for over four years, I have overcome cultural and language barriers while developing a disciplined approach to my work. In less than three years, I have developed an automated recycling system in my community (improving emergency management) and created a learning platform for people with hearing disabilities. I am committed to positively impacting society using innovative solutions.

My area of expertise is in Communications. I have experience in citizen initiatives related to open data, open government, transparency, access to public information, and anti-corruption. I pursued studies in international relations, human rights, climate change, information technologies, digital security, personal data protection, and digital inclusion. I have been part of the first government open data working group as a society representative, Open Government 2017 – 2019, and the initial phase of the index ITI.

My most recent experience includes co-founding a non-profit organization, Espacio Civico Foundation, which promotes open parliament pillars. We facilitate access to legislative branch information, build capacity, and support anti-corruption initiatives. Earlier, I led the UK government’s agenda of embedding the principles of a rules-based international economic system in Latin America. I engaged with these countries on rules-compliance and anti-corruption initiatives.

I have worked as a Software Engineer since 2012 to build solutions that can help people in their everyday lives. I have experience building APIs for Open Data and building solutions leveraging those APIs. I am a committed citizen interested in anti-corruption efforts.

I am an expert in public policy with an anti-racism perspective. I have worked on youth rights for equal education and social justice access. I was part of the Mexican Commission in the First Session of the Permanent Forum for African descendants in Geneve-Suize. I am working on the resolution of General Law Migration, where the Supreme Court of Justice has declared racial profiling unconstitutional.

I am a dedicated Professor, and Civil Activist focused on bettering Mexico through my academic contributions and voluntary mobilization in the +integridad collective. I have extensive experience in electoral observation, citizen participation, the fight against corruption, digital government, open government, open data, and civic software. I am a journalist with a master’s degree in Peace Studies. I am the Editor at Colombiacheck (a fact-checking media outlet created by the journalist’s association Consejo de Redacción), where I have worked for five years. Before that, I spent two years in El Tiempo as a correspondent in Manizales, Caldas (part of the Coffee Triangle region). In 2021, I also entered the 6th generation of the LATAM Network of Young Journalists.

I represent the city as the Operative Point of Contact in the Open Government Partnership.
